Посадить ступень на плавучую платформу

17 января частная космическая компания SpaceX в очередной раз попыталась осуществить посадку первой ступени ракеты-носителя Falcon 9 на плавучую самоуправляемую платформу. Попытка вновь завершилась неудачей — одна из опор ступени не сумела надежно закрепиться, космический аппарат завалился набок и взорвался. «Медуза» рассказывает, зачем глава компании SpaceX Илон Маск упорно пытается посадить ступень на плавучую платформу, притом что ее уже удалось посадить на твердую поверхность. 

Зачем SpaceX сажает ракету? 

Стоимость одного запуска ракеты-носителя Falcon 9 с грузом в космос — около 60 миллионов долларов, причем значительная часть этих расходов приходится на строительство первой ступени ракеты. Именно на ней расположены наиболее мощные двигатели, обеспечивающие отрыв ракеты от земной поверхности. 

В традиционном ракетостроении первая ступень после достижения нужной высоты отбрасывается и затапливается в воде. Согласно задумке Маска, если первую ступень удастся успешно приземлить без повреждений, ее можно будет перезаправить и запустить вновь, тем самым существенно снизив стоимость космических запусков. Посадка осуществляется с помощью встроенных в основание ракеты двигателей. Насколько трудно это сделать, можно оценить в браузерной игре. 

И как успехи? 

SpaceX предприняла в общей сложности четыре попытки «поймать» первую ступень — три на воду и одну на платформу, расположенную на земле. Все попытки приземления на плавучую платформу были неудачными, хотя последняя, казалось, была идеальной. Зато приземление на землю произошло в декабре 2015 года идеально и с первого раза, хотя это не то, к чему стремится основатель SpaceX Илон Маск. 

 

 

Почему SpaceX сажает ракету на воду?  

По словам основателя частной космической компании Илона Маска, посадка на плавучую платформу теоретически позволит сохранять первую ступень в том случае, если ее отделение произошло на скорости более шести тысяч километров в час — и до девяти тысяч километров. Посадить ступень на космодром можно только при ее отделении на скорости меньше шести тысяч километров в час. Таким образом, посадка на морскую платформу охватывает более широкий спектр запусков, чем приземление первой ступени на космодром на земле. 

Плавучие платформы, на которых приземляются ступени, работают автономно. SpaceX в общей сложности построила три таких платформы, первая и третья носят название «Просто прочитайте инструкцию», вторая — «Конечно, я все еще люблю тебя». Предполагается, что приземлившиеся на платформы части ракет будут заправлять достаточным количеством топлива, чтобы ступень сама могла долететь обратно на космодром, однако испытаний этой системы SpaceX еще не проводила.

Кто еще сажал ракеты? 

23 ноября 2015 года частная космическая компания Blue Origin основателя Amazon Джеффа Безоса совершила тестовую посадку на землю разгонного модуля космического корабля New Shepard. Это суборбитальный космический корабль, предназначенный в первую очередь для туристических целей, а не полноценная ракета-носитель типа Falcon 9; несмотря на это, до Blue Origin никому не удавалось посадить разгонный модуль с высоты более ста километров. Кроме того, компания собирается использовать технологию посадки разгонного модуля New Shepard для другой ракеты, способной выводить грузы на орбиту, но пока таких попыток предпринято не было.

Aloe is one of my favorite plants. It's great for soothing burns. Just break off a leaf and rub the juice onto the burn. It's also great at eradicating chemicals in the air that you would otherwise find yourself breathing.

Lavender

Lavender is my favorite on the list. Its scent is perfect for my bedroom. The odor is soothing, relaxing, and even has a somewhat sedating effect. This is great for sleep time.

B) The confident, get-it-done type.

People with shorter ring fingers than index fingers are the self-confident, get-it-done types. They love solitude in which to work and accomplish the things they need to do, but that doesn't necessarily indicate introversion. They're very goal oriented and don't like to be disturbed. They appreciate what they have but often hunger for more.

C) The peacenik

C's are the peace-loving conflict-avoiding types. People with even ring and index finger length are well organized and want nothing but to get along with everyone. They are faithful in relationships, tender and caring partners, but beware: C's have a fiery core that while suppressed in normal day-to-day activities can be dangerous if unleashed. They might be peaceniks, but please, stay on their good side.
